Desktop themes are packages containing customized images to get the “look” and “feel” of an operating system. While themes are tried to define us our whole lives, the themes of our desktop need not say as much. They do, however, need to put us in the proper mindset to approach our daily tasks so they don’t appear as hum-drum as all that.

Desktop themes, better than define our mood, often celebrate the things we love. Whether that be our new family or the wonderful city we live in; the spring weather or our favorite television shows, the theme of our desktop can remind us of the things that we love.

In all seriousness, there is a certain something to be said for a person by looking at his desktop. You can gauge the tenor and tone of a persons desktop and then try to have an icebreaker discussion. Now wouldn’t that be a way to live; yet, the way we’re all living right now, I’d say that maybe, that’s the way we already are.
