Often ridiculed for its relative inaccuracy and reliance on something as seemingly inconsequential as the positioning of the celestial bodies in the universe, Astrology is actually a sometimes eerily accurate depiction of what’s going on in the world and how it affects us earthbound bodies in a much greater sense then any of us may believe.

If you open up your local newspaper you’ll see the horoscopes and astrology charts right next to the funnies. I don’t think that’s an accident. Leisure, it’s called by some. Pseudoscience it’s labeled by others. For many this is their belief system; like a God or any other celestial being whose existence and deeds are so many hundreds or thousands of years past that it’s all really just heresy as to whether they ever existed at all or not. These beings have whole buildings dedicated to the perpetuation of their existence; I wonder if thousands of years from now, people will look back on the time we live in today and shake their heads and say “Ah, well! They believed there was a God; isn’t that cute?”

The point is, just like people are allowed to question things they don’t believe they should give some weight to the things they do believe in and ask why.

Chinese astrology is decidedly different than Western or Indian astrology; the people in China are also much less skeptical than we smug, think we know everything Americans.

If you truly are interested in astrology, good for you! It’s important not to remain closed off in your world view or your life view your entire life. You may open yourself up to experiences and persons that could change everything about who you are and the way you behave and the beliefs you have.
