If you’re looking still you should find MIDI downloads are available all over the internet. If you’d like to download some song, clip, or information you can just point and click. Whatever software you’re using should scan the material before it’s uploaded so if there’s anything suspicious, it should reject it. You can also visit trusted third party sites to get your stuff from one place so that it’s always legitimate.

If you locate some free MIDI songs online and you’re interested and they’re available, I say, why not? So long as they appear to be above board, your MIDI software shouldn’t have too many problems authenticating them.

Which gets us back to control; you’re in control of your own destiny. While the MIDI controls that are found on your unit can make or break your career as a musician, you shouldn’t stress it too-too much. After all, all life really is, is just a series of rehearsals.
